Award Winning Books
Every year three committees get together to select children books that stand out in a field teaming with excellence. The Caldecott, Newbery, and Coretta Scott King Awards are certainly worth taking note of in children literature. While we at A Child's Book.com would love to throw around our own awards for excellence in children literature, these three committees do a fine job in determining what is the very best for books published last year.

Click on any of the book titles to learn more about them.

The 2003 Caldecott Award
Given annually since 1938 to the illustrator of the most distinguished American picture book for children, the Caldecott Award represents the pinnacle in awards for people who enjoy looking at wonderfully illustrated works with terrific stories.
